Drain Holding Hoodie
Drain Holding Hoodie
THE DRAIN HOLDING HOODIE
After a breast surgery, like a mastectomy or lumpectomy, drain tubes are installed. These tubes cannot be left hanging free. This hoodie is perfect for going out with your drains. Keep them safely contained in the internal pockets, and hidden! The lightweight fabric is very soft and comfy. Available in 3 different colors! Extra large pockets leave room for multiple drains. They can also accommodate larger items like heart monitors too! You will receive the hoodie in the same size as the shirt you choose.

So soft and so helpful!
I had my DMX on 8/12/20. I'm all healed up now but still love to wear my hoodie. It is not super thick - almost like a long sleeved hooded t-shirt so it's perfect when I want to go out and not flaunt my now concave chest. It's also really nice to have inside pockets to tuck my face mask and keys in while I'm out and about. Sizing. I would size up from your mastectomy shirt. If you like it oversized, go 2 sizes up. I was a 36C. 5'3 155lbs, size large tops and size 10 pants. I found the size large mastectomy shirts fit wonderfully, even buttoned up with drains in the pockets. (I followed the sizing chart). But I got the hoodie in a large as well and never felt comfortable zipping it up because it was a little snug around my now more obvious pot belly (no boobs to liftthe fabric away from the tummy). I still love it, but just don't like to zip it up because it hugs the mid section more than I want it to.
I had just had a double mastectomy on 9-14-20. I had looked for button down pajamas and button down shirts to wear afterwords but hadn't really thought about the whole drain situation all though I knew that was going to be apart of the recovery. I received one of the shirts and the pillow and it was a total game changer. Honestly, I felt a little ignorant not to think that there would actually be post mastectomy clothing so I never bothered to Google that. Not very smart on my part, but considering I was about to have a bilateral mastectomy I think I can cut myself some slack. Anyway, I love this shirt and even ordered another one and a hoody. The best gift I could have gotten!! Thank you being so thoughtful and innovative for us breast cancer patients!!!
Just what she needed!
